For a brick and mortar location to start and stay in the SAME location for 30+ years is INSANE!!
A lil’ history sequence;
Jo Michalski started Classic woman here with the building in 1990!! 36 YEARS AGO!
Then Jo bought the space just on the opposite side to open Portfolio 11years later in 2001!!
Fast forward another 10 years…
Lauren purchased both Classic woman & Portfolio in 2011 (this time frame is where Lauren felt it was right to celebrate Portfolio)
In 2020 Lauren Merged Classic Woman and Portfolio under one name “PORTFOLIO”
Following in 2023 a full store remodeled to as you see it now.
This brings us to our 15 year anniversary marking Portfolio’s changes throughout the years and the continued commitment to provide size inclusive options for our community.
So cheers!! We’re celebrating with YOU! Portfolio wouldn’t be where it is today without the support from the community; to honor our loyal customers please come in on May 1st and/or May 2nd to enter your name to win a gift certificate from Lauren 💝
